I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with 10 years of experience conducting and directing IT, Financial, Operational, Compliance and Regulatory audits, as well as 8 years hands-on experience establishing and managing Internal Audit functions from inception for 3 global financial firms.

I am a collaborative team player with an ownership mindset and a sustained track record of delivering quality strategic solutions to identify and resolve challenges, and propel business resilience.

Born in Portugal, having lived in France, Luxembourg and now the UK, I have an open, outgoing personality, speaking English, French and Portuguese fluently and German to a good level. I studied and completed my Accounting and Finance degree at the distinguished Brighton University with ACCA follow-on accreditation.

As an FCCA qualified professional with extensive experience, including a recent role as Group Head of Internal Audit, I specialise in delivering tailored solutions in internal audit, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). My expertise spans designing robust internal audit frameworks, conducting varied risk-based audits, and leveraging data analytics to enhance decision-making.
